In-House Writer – $12/hr + Performance-Based Bonuses

BKA Content—a leading provider of high-quality, SEO content for small businesses, corporations and agencies—is seeking part-time writers who can work a minimum of 20 hours per week here at our Ogden office.

This is a temporary position (1-3 months) with the potential for long-term writing opportunities.

Responsibilities

Writers will be required to write various types of content such as articles, blog posts, product descriptions, etc.

• Expected to write approximately 500 words an hour.
• Must maintain expected writing quality standards.
• Must produce 100% original content, no plagiarism.

Qualifications

• Strong and efficient writer, able to research quickly and stay on task.
• Excellent grammar skills and proofreading abilities.
• Ability to be a team player.
• Must be detail-oriented and organized.
• Must have a laptop.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Outlook, Google Drive and Skype (computer savvy).
• Ability to effectively work in an office setting for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Appreciation of a good pun a plus.

Hours and Availability

• 20 hours per week minimum.
• Must be available to work a minimum 4 hour shift between the hours of 9AM-5PM MST.
• This is a temporary position. When the position ends, opportunities to continue to write on our teams may be available.
